应当始终维护中国人的声誉，在自己做好的同时，还是要努力扭转在鬼心中对中国人的成见。而要扭转他们对中国人的成见，仅仅靠自己做好是不够的。“酒好也要靠吆喝”
对你所说的中国人的丑事我也知道，但是你为什么不能对有成见的人解释“这些人并不代表中国人，他们只是中国人中素质低下的败类，而象我这样的人，才是普通的中国人，而且是中下水平的中国人！”
另外，你统计过吗？The ChinaTown in NY, how many ppl are immigrants from China and get their education from China? and how many ppl are ABC or Banana? The same fact I had discussed, the scandal in ChinaTown were not because of Chinese culture and they are Chinese, but because the local culture or/and the poverty.
The same question I can ask you, do you calculate the proportion of Chinese & ABC/Banana in those "Old immigrant" you had said "Do u guyz know how those old immigrantz chinese ppl treat the new immigrantz? " and those bosses you had asked "Do know how much they get paid from their bosses who r chinese? "
In here, Vancouver, I met many Chinese from mainland, Taiwang or Hongkong (in the recent 10 years) are very nice, very kind and very eagerness. Almost every Chinese said "We are proud, China become more and more powerful"
I certain agree, the place with less Chinese will be easy for us to learn English. But what else? I mean Do you really believe western were easier to be live with than Chinese? here, I only mean those Chinese get "Chinese" education.
