本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Have been waiting for your reply for a long time, thank god, u did reply finally. I had though u disappeared suddenly. Just for fun, I changed my nickname. For friends, they could always recognize me no matter what name I am using. So, don't be surprised. Is it a cool name? xixi, just stole fr my closest friend.
So u will come over next spring? Do u confirm ur date? Do u have any question other than hunting a job? Is there anything I could help? Why didn't ask me for hints, I mean jobs? U read my words before. Here are some further infor.:
It's really tough for u to find a mgmt job here. THe chance is so little. 'cause u don't have any local experience, no matter how good ur background is. But, if u do have a local people recommend u, for say, he / she knows that some company is hiring , and u are the right person. U will have higher possibility to get a job. Here, in Canada , people do depend on relationship, which is a kind of credit. If u don't have anybody who could recommend u, it's really hard.
Then go to the agency, which could introduce temporary or contract jobs for you. Keep it in mind, no matter how short the job will be, just do it. Never choose the job, in order to accumulate CANADIAN WORKING EXPERIENCE. The more people learn about u, the more jobs opportunities u would get. Believe me.
I am working in the financail field. If u are very interested in this field, if my company is hiring at that time, for sure will recommend u without doubt. If u don't care to start fr the very beginning. (Like me ) In this industry, u have to get some certificates, to make urself marketable, like CANADIAN SECURITIES COURSE, which I am studying. It's made up of two assignments, and one final exam. It takes a lot of time on reading, and analysing. If u could get it, it's much easier to find a job. Another certificate is about mutual fund industry, just for ur referrence. I pass the CANADIAN INVESTMENT FUND OPERATION COURSE exam on last August, which is not hard. It's quite helpful in mutual fund industry. 'cause I am working in a mutual fund company. There are so many other exams waiting for u, if u are interested. U know, toronto is a financial centre, so there are more job opportunities in this industry than others. So, u could consider about it, right?
Okay, finally, thx for ur words which increased my confidence in pursueing my MBA dream. Will go for it. Wish u good luck too.
It's so hard to work and study at the same time. But working experience is also important for MBA application.
Will see.
Got to go now. Sailor said, ur letter to map looks like a private letter. It doesn't matter. As long as we could keep in touch. Any question, u could keep asking.
Take care, and have a good night. lumlum Dec 01 /00 toronto更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
