Really depends on the capacity you are going to deploy. Usually two Callmanager, one Unity should be O.K. for a middle size company.

Unity Server could be optional, at least you need Autoattendent or Voice mail or Unitfied message
Two CCM backup each other will be a good solution.
End stations:
7940, good for normal user,
7960 +7914 good for recepitionist
7935 conference phone
7910 lobby phone
Toll bypass can be done by using IPsoftphone+ VPN (IPsec or other, support both Micosoft PPTP or Cisco VPN 3005)

2x Cisco manager 4.0
1x unity server 4.0
xx IP phone

CME is not a very good solution, only good for <100 users.

I dont recommend you use Cisco IP phone with other server. A lot problems will be involve

          • yeah, that's what i'm looking at now. But to use IP Phone, what server/software do I need? Call manager, Call manager express? And What's IPCC? Do I need Cisco Utility?

            • You don't need to alway focus on the Cisco Call manager. Cisco's IP phone 7960,7940,7910,7912,7905 can used in the other system also.
              • would you mind to provide me some more details? phones are not expensive, but those call manager/express are way beyond the budget.
