本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛it's another story to tell. But this time it's the love story,,,, ( blushing..... )
Finally I made up my mind to pursue my MBA dream. Actually still wondering whether I should switch to MIS or not. You know, MIS combines management skills with IT knowledge, which would be helpful in job hunting. And it also asks for GMAT score.
Okay, let me simplified my working experience in Toronto first. Actually it really depends on luck. After I took those exams in computer software, like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, I was so upset that, 'cause I didn't get a good mark, and I thouhgt I failed. By the way, they also tested on vocalburary, math, ( so simple that as long as u graduated from middle school, u could do it, without opening your eyes ) , typing speed, article corrections, mainly on grammar, which required some writing skills, ( pls put some efforts on business writing), finally personal interview. I felt fine for face to face interview, 'cause I was quite confident on that. But, all in all, I felt bad. As I didn't prepare for those software well before the exam, I didn't get a high mark. Dear friends, the higher score you got in the exam, the sooner you could get a working opportunity, and the higher pay you would get, keep it in mind.
To my surprise, one week later, the agency called me, just after I had an interview with an advertising company, which offered me a job. It's a kind of sales work, which required a lot of outdoor activities, and was filled with lots of pressure. The basic salary was very low, mainly depending on the sales volume you got. When Andrea asked me whether I was available next day, for a temporary job in a mutual fund company, and it's about one month work, I felt my voice trembling. Without a second hesitation, I said yes, and didn't ask for salary. She asked me to write down the address and appear there on time. She also told me it's a good company and I may get a chance to work permanently there,, sth like that. I didn't care how long I could there, I didn't care how much the wage was, the only thing made me happy was, I would get CANADIAN WORKING EXPERIENCE, which was so important on finding a job. I cancelled my plan to work in that advertising company, and went to the company half an hour earlier than the appointment tme.
Then I worked there almost one year, until I quited the job last week.
Well, just wanted to help friends with similiar background as me, following is the infor of my agency, wish all of you good luck:

It's a sunny day here in Ottawa, and I am facing the beautiful Ottawa River. I could see the tiny houses on the other side of the river, maybe they are french guys' houses, I think. 'cause it's Quebec area.
