Secondly, what is the fate of the people on the boat cause time passed 12pm and the detonating fuse was not clear. However, no follow up after the batman beat the joker.

Last but not least, who was the real rat inside police department to cause the death of Rachel? Are the old police officer and his female assistant? If yes, what is the motive for them to do it and when can they do it since they looked busy all over.

in the interogation room, knowing that he would not kill him. that's why the joker dares to stand in front of the motor cycle & not afraid of being run over. he even asks batman explicitly to break his rule & says that he himself has no rules & no plans.

2) the joker wants the boat people to trigger the detonator, and when this didn't occur, he took out another set of detonator, but batman stopped him in the process.

3) 2 rat from the police force, both have relatives in the hospital that got blown up. one of which is a guy, identified by gordon in the police car, after he got a text message from batman. the other is the female assistant, who was killed by harvey. she made it clear that it's because of the mounting hospital bills.

First of all, I really did not pay attention to the first half of the movie cause I was busy talking to my friends.

My first question is asking the fate of joker. As you recalled your memory, you will remember he was hung on the top of the building by batman. Then the scene of the movie switched and never mentioned the fate of joker until the end. I think the director might leave the audience to decide the joker's fate.

The triggers of the bomb should exist in more than one boat. Thus, even if the people on one boat threw them away and batman stopped joker for another trigger. There should be other triggers exist on other boats. That means some crazy people would still explode the boats.

As you mentioned Joker was hanging outside of the building. The SWAT team has come in with armed weapons. What do you think what is gonna happen next? It's not the director wants to let the audience to decide the fate of the Joker. He's ending is clearly stated already.

About the bomb triggers, one was thrown away by the criminal in skunk boat. One was abandoned by a guy in the civilian boat. Batman stopped the last one from the Joker. Only if the civilian guy got out of his mind, otherwise nobody could since there are only three of them.

Well, my English is not as good as xbox360, but I understand the movie at least. So go and watch it again before you have more questions.

I do not think the SWAT team can decide the fate of joker. Just use your mind and judgement, since the joker has escaped so many times even if in the police station. Do you think there is no exception for him to deal with SWAT team?

I do want to watch it again but maybe next year by DVD cause I like to deduce the movie first by logical thinking.
