i think it works like this:

lilianliang(彪妹)

e.g. for $500-999.99 level, 3 items are 50% off.

then better 3 friends buy together, they choose some jewleries or handbags, and get let's say $500 items all together. made the order through the system.

A bought 200, B bought 200, and C bought 100.

then this sale is entitled to get $100 FREE items, both A & B will get $40 item for Free, and C will get $20 item for FREE. (according to the ratio they contribute to that $500 order)

then each of them choose a WHATEVER item and pay only 50%.

this is what i remembered from last time i participated this trunk show.
