Nod, nodI only have experience in Vancouver and Seattle, what I say is only based on my limited knowledge. Contact Xia bases on his observation and gets his conclusion too. All DX here can collect information we supply here and make them own conclusion, then it is worth the discussion.

If you are in IT, I believe Seattle has the highest average salary in States(120K in 2000). So life in Seattle may not be a great example of the life in states either :).
