I don't agree this. I think English is the most reason. Language incloudes everything like culture. I can talk to anybody for work. But if we talk about something else in bar, that will be big problem. Your LG isdifferent than the other pure local people, you'll understand what I am saying once you get change to stay in a small town alone. They really don't have patience to listen to you if you can't say same English. I think everybody knows what will happen when they came in. But learning English is really hard for the people over 30yr old. If you want to make friend with local people, will be more hard.

no no no. if you do want to communicate with others, language is not very important. Body language is the most important! It doesn't matter that how good your language is!

I don't think so. If the people is not working with you, they don't want to guss what you are trying to say. My manager told me this last week. He is a nice white people. We had same problem when I startedhere. I had 14 monthes government working experience before I got this new job. The problem is I am in a small town, they never talk to immigrant. But they are getting better now.

No pain no gainSometimes you have to pay the money or the time(or both) to understand something, even the answer is very clear already. Perhaps what we disscuss here is the culture difference. You are lucky to have a good teacher deside you. I can only wish everybody good luck and try your best.
